My eye on Cappadocia

Cappadocia is a central geographical area of Turkey where the scenery, between valleys, mountains, unique rock formations, becomes almost surreal. In this collection I mainly propose some shots of the Ihlara Valley whose atmosphere became more and more unreal as we entered. The canyon is full of Byzantine-period churches built by the Cappadocian Greeks. It is 14 kilometers long and it was the protection for Christians who fled from the Romans. Pictures also from the Pigeon Valley

I liked those boulders that appear in the branches, they looked like a vision that came out like a gash in the flora
